Guest lecture by Eric Allender - Tue, 23 Feb in IT-4-58
Eric Allender will give a guest lecture on "Chipping away at P versus NP - How Far Are We from Proving Circuit Size Lower Bounds?". The lecture takes place on Tuesday, 23 of February, 15:00-16:00 in IT4-58 on the university's main campus. Visitors are welcome. Eric Allender is from the department of Computer Science at Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA) and currently visiting South Africa through the Fulbright Fellowship programme. He has already visited the University of Cape Town and UNSIA, and his next visit is here in our department at the University of Pretoria. His main research area is computational complexity theory.
